Fit guidance, because this is where travel plans go wrong: the Medium runs about 17 inches long and handles dogs up to roughly 16 pounds, which covers most mini dachshunds with room to curl — though a long dachshund body uses every inch, so measure nose-to-tail-base and check that your dog can turn around inside.
