Our verdict
This is comfort versus control. The Puppia is a soft mesh vest that spreads pressure across the whole chest — the gentlest thing you can put on a small dog's front end, but it goes on over the head and has no front clip. The rabbitgoo is more adjustable, clips front and back, and handles pullers. A calm, small, or throat-sensitive dog: Puppia. A puller, or a dog that hates over-the-head dressing: rabbitgoo.
Pick the Puppia if…
- ✓Your dog is small and light on the leash — comfort is the whole job
- ✓You want maximum pressure distribution on the chest, nothing near the throat
- ✓Machine-washable mesh for a dog that finds every puddle
Pick the rabbitgoo if…
- ✓Your dog pulls and you'll actually use the front clip
- ✓Over-the-head dressing is a wrestling match at your house
- ✓You want more girth adjustment range as a puppy grows
